Just as movie and video lovers were getting used to talking about the latest DVD releases, the technological community threw consumers a curve. To match television’s jump to high definition, a format war emerged in the world of recorded video media. Blu-Ray Discs and HD-DVD’s battled each other as the heir apparent to the DVD video market. Michael Meyerhofer visits MSC

On Tuesday, Apr. 1, poet Michael Meyerhofer visited Macon State College for a poetry reading in the Arts Complex Theater. Meyerhofer read primarily from his new book, Leaving Iowa. Meyerhofer also offered a writer’s workshop later that day in the Student Life Center for English majors and aspiring authors.
In addition to being a published, award-winning poet, Meyerhofer teaches his craft at Ball State University in Indiana. Meyerhofer is also the latest poet to visit MSC as part of the Georgia Poetry Circuit. Continue reading »
