Stick this in your queue and watch it – summer edition

We are on the cusp of summer break and the future is looking bright. Already students are discussing plans for traveling abroad, going on vacation, or even fun things to do around town with their loads of free time.

But what if you are not leaving the middle Georgia area for summer? What if you are planning on sitting around and seeking entertainment in whatever forms are most convenient? What if you are planning to take summer classes and need to find any method possible to blow off steam between classes?

If any of these rhetorical questions describe you, then it is time for you to turn to Netflix and become addicted to a television show during the summer. Summertime is a great time to introduce yourself to a new series, particularly if the program is going on a summer hiatus. You can catch up and become an expert over a series you never knew about before.

Looking for action and adventure in a television series that keeps you watching until you’’ve finished each season? Try ““The X-Files.””

Sure, it’’s an older show, but they didn’’t make it to nine seasons (all of which are available on Netflix) without having something to offer viewers. This summer you can follow FBI agents Mulder and Scully throughout their mysterious world.

Want something to watch with your kids, nephews, nieces or children you babysit? Check out ““Babar.””

This classic television show about the king of the elephants follows him and his family throughout six seasons of delightful adventures and morality lessons. If you find yourself glued to the lighthearted television show, be sure to check out ““Babar: the Movie”” on Netflix as well.

If you’’re seeking something so awfully put together that it’’s addictive and hilarious to watch, go no further than ““The Secret Life of the American Teenager.”” This ABC Family television show is so terrible that you cannot help but to watch.

The television show follows Amy Juergens, her friends and family and their various misadventures in their close-knit society. When Amy gets pregnant, everything changes for everybody. The preposterous situations, unbelievable dialogue and over-the-top acting are definitely at least good for a laugh or two.

There is a multitude of different television shows that are offered by the Netflix instant watch program; many of these shows will be on Netflix for many months following the end of summer. I encourage you to spend your summer well——Find something great to enjoy, stick it in your queue and watch it.
